Filed under: gmail, gmail open to all, google, hotmail], microsoft, web2.0, yahoo — Albin Paul @ 11:28 am

Starting from wednesday Gmail becomes open to all, D’oh! so no need for invitation to join and have your own gmail. Holy cows how can google do this a aargh cmon these were few of the things we loved, I still havnt invited any one from my circles who is less a favourite. And I had more than 100 invitation at one time, althouh now it is standing at a modest 74. The point is I hate to see gmail the same way as hotmail or yahoo. Not that I hate hotmail thoguh am angry how my seemingly innocent hotmail account used only to exhnage email betwen friends an family started to get more spam the day I started to report these monsters. So what will happen to gmail. quiet a concerrn as I have some 15 + gmail accounts, well yes I do chek them almost every week, some are for reading newsletters only some for rss feeds the rest for personal email and chat. likes calvin says That’s the difference between me and the rest of the world! Happiness isn’t good enough for me! I demand euphoria!. I still havnt used even 25% of my gmail space but thats despite receiving almost 300 email a day, oh and yes they are all legitimate email and I read them as I work on marketing. Thats not all for users of gmail in UK the email will end yourname@googlemail.com . thanks to the spread  of hapy to sue culture from US to continental Europe.

I have recently found that the Gmai option of

use a different ‘From:’ address to send mail?

actually causing me to get duplicate email. When I had enabled this option using my corporate ID , and at any time if I send a mail to my corporate ID I get a copy to my gmail as well, not very appealing
